I have had my house burned down more than 3 times on The Sims game, and it seriously sucks. Here's a tip for you to make sure your Sim's house doesn't catch on fire: make sure your Sim knows how to cook, have a smoke alarm on the wall, or just prepare if it does happen, like get a phone in the kitchen just in case... ^_^
